Waco’s Best Climbing
Located in Hewitt, Basin Climbing and Fitness is an indoor rock climbing gym aimed at educating and inspiring individuals, friends, and families to grow in mind, body, and soul.
Our BCF leadership team are Wacoans themselves, so they know the need for local establishments that support whole-person wellness and interpersonal connection. At Basin, there will be a variety of programs, training, and events to meet the needs of every climber, from the first time walk-in to the elite climber athlete.

Environment
The Basin Team have taken great care when designing the facility, to make it a comfortable, clean gathering place for all. The Main floor of our facility will include a training classroom, rental rooms, a kids climbing room, a roped climbing area, a fitness floor, and a yoga studio. On the upper level, there will be a bouldering area and climbing-specific training area with seating along the railing overlooking the roped-climbing area.

Community
Basin will be a hub for Individuals, friends, and family to learn and grow together. Our staff will welcome, teach, and encourage you every visit. You can connect with fellow climbers at our community events. You can also strengthen your own connections by hosting an event or kids birthday party at Basin.

Climbing
Harness your inner adventurer on our premier climbing walls. Our roped climbing area will have up to 35 foot walls that feature top-rope climbing, auto-belay devices, and lead climbing. Regularly updated routes will allow all levels of climbers to improve with each visit.

Fitness
Included in your day pass or membership is access to the fully equipped fitness floor. Enjoy a variety of free-weights and machines to incorporate more strength training and cardio and enhance your fitness regimen. Group classes, including core classes and yoga, will be held in our Flex Studio.
